چکيده: مقياس هوش وکسلر کودکان ـ تجديدنظر شده WISC-R)) با استفاده از نمونه ای 1400 نفری از کودکان 6 تا 13 ساله که بر اساس جنسيت، سن و طبقه شغلی سرپرست خانواده انتخاب گرديدند، هنجاريابی گرديد. پايايی مقياس با استفاده از دو روش تنصيفی و بازآزمايی محاسبه شد. ضرايب همبستگی زير آزمونها با يکديگر و با هوش بهرهای کلامی کلامی و کلی، افزايش نمرات خام زير آزمونها با افزايش سن، رابطه نمرات با ميزان سواد والدين و طبقه شغلی پدر، همبستگی نمرات با معدل امتحانات پنجم ابتدايی و همبستگی نمرات مقياس ويسک ـ آر و ويپسی در مقطع سنی 6 تا 5/6 سال نشانگر روايی مقياس برای استفاده در ايران بوده است. يافته های ديگر اين پژوهش حاکی از تأثير معنادار ميزان سواد مادر، اندازه خانواده، و اشتغال مادر بر هوش بهر کودکان بوده در حالیکه سن مادر و جنسيت تأثير معنادار بر هوش بهر کودکان نداشته است.
Application of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R) in Iran

Abstract: The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised was standardized on a representative sample of 1400 children aged 6 to 13 years. The standardization sample was derived on the basis of father's occupation, age and sex according to the 1986 census of Iran. Tables for conversion of raw scores to standard scores and IQs were constructed. Retest reliability and split-half reliability of the test scores were comparable to the values reported by Wechsler (1974). Correlations between WISC-R and WPPSI IQs, correlations between WISC-R scaled scores and IQs, the increase of raw scores with age, the relationship between scores and socioeconomic status of the family, and correlations between IQ and school achievement were interpreted as an index of validity of the scale. Gender difference in IQs were not significant. Parents' education, family size and employment of mother had significant effects on Full-Scale IQs.
