چکيده: در اين پژوهش، به منظور مطالعة روابط منبع کنترل و الگوهاي رفتاري تيپ A و تيپ B با افکار خودکشي، 62 نفر از دانشجويان (33 نفر مرد و 29 نفر زن) به مقياس منبع کنترل دروني ـ بيروني راتر، فرم کوتاه فعاليتسنج جنکينز، و پرسشنامة خودسنجي افکار خودکشي پاسخ دادند. مانند نتايج اغلب مطالعات پيشين، يافته هاي پژوهش حاضر نيز نشان ميدهند که در کُلِ آزمودنيها بين منبع بيروني کنترل و افکار خودکشي همبستگي مثبت و معناداري وجود دارد. البته با تفکيک جنسيت آزمودنيها، رابطة معناداري بين دو متغير مذکور يافت نشد. همچنين بين الگوهاي رفتاري تيپ A و تيپ B با افکار خودکشي هيچگونه رابطة معناداري در کل آزمودنيها و نيز هر يک از دو جنس مشاهده نشد. اين نتايج، همخواني قابل ملاحظه اي با يافته هاي پژوهش فرويد و پِري (1985) دارند. همچنين به منظور پيبردن به تفاوتهاي زنان و مردان در مورد هر يک از متغيرهاي مورد بررسي، ميانگين نمرههاي هر دو جنس در مورد هر يک از متغيرها مقايسه شدند. نتايج به دست آمده، نشان ميدهند که بين زنان و مردان تفاوت معناداري در مورد هيچ يک از متغيرهاي مورد بررسي وجود ندارد.
Relationships of Internal-External Locus of Control and Type A and Type B Behavior patterns, with Suicidal Ideation

Abstract: In this study, in order to investigate the relationships of locus of control and type A and type B behavior patterns with suicidal ideation. 62 university students (33 males and 29 females) responded to the following instruments: Rotter's Internal-External Locus of Control Scale, Jenkins Activity Survey (short scale), and Self-Assessment Questionnaire of Suicidal Ideation. As most previous studies, the findings of the present study showed that, in general, there is a positive correlation between external locus of control and suicidal ideation. However, considering the sexes separately, no significant correlation was found between these two variables. Likewise, between type A and type B behavior patterns and suicidal ideation with regards to either total subjects or different sexes no significant correlation was found. These findings are in close agreement with other findings (e.g. Froyd and perry, 1985). In a further analysis, the mean scores of the two sexes on each of the variables were compared, and no significant differences were found.
